Access For All portal

Access For All aims at providing an overview of the most relevant projects dealing with people with disabilities and their needs. These range from private initiatives to those partially funded by e.g. the European Commission under the Framework Programmes, Leonardo da Vinci Programme, etc.

e-Learning environment 1

ATutor is the most accessible e-learning environment worldwide, and is used by PhoenixKM throughout its activities to offer an easy, user friendly but above all accessible online learning experience. Soon free courses will be made available as well.

e-Learning environment 2

PhoenixKM also offers as part of its services a Moodle e-learning environment, supporting a number of organisations in establishing their online learning environment.

Assistive Technology (AT) use and satisfaction survey

We believe that as AT specialist you might be interested in the project MARE (www.mareproject.eu), an 18 month support action aimed at a technology and foresight analysis of Assistive Technologies in Europe through the implementation of a “User Centered Approach” that pays significant attention to needs of people with any kind of impairment.

They have compiled a brief questionnaire where you can define your needs in terms of Assistive Technology (AT) use and satisfaction. This will allow MARE to evaluate AT present and future trends. The questionnaires are now available on-line and downloadable via the MARE website (accessible via an information box on the home page www.mareproject.eu) in English, Spanish and Italian, with three specific versions for each of the three user clusters: End users, Professional users and Public authorities. Replies will be processed in an anonymous way. Please compile the questionnaire according to your User group (Final Users, Professional Users, and Public Authorities).

In case you encounter accessibility barriers on the internet, please download the questionnaire and send it back via mail or fax: +39 06 39377588. A Help Desk can also reply to your further issues: in this case please send an email to: infodesk@mareproject.eu.
